AMISTÀ, NIZZA DOCG, PIEDMONT

Amistà makes its debut in Los Angeles at Rossoblu, Chef Steve Samson’s temple of Italian gastronomy.

On Wednesday, August 9, I’ll be presenting Amistà Nizza DOCG for the first time in Los Angeles, California, at Rossoblu, Chef Steve Samson’s downtown temple to Italian gastronomy.

Chef Steve transformed the the Los Angeles food scene in the late 2000s when he opened the ground-breaking Sotto in West Hollywood, with its classic Neapolitan pizzas and breads and his wood-fired grill.

Then food critic for the LA Weekly, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Jonathan Gold had nothing but praise for Chef Steve’s ode to his hometown of Bologna, Rossoblu (“Jonathan Gold says Rossoblu may make you wish you knew a Bolognese grandmother,” Los Angeles Times, June 2017).

On Wednesday, August 9, Amistà will be making its debut in the City of Angeles at Rossoblu where I’ll be presenting the winery’s Nizza DOCG for the first time in California.

I couldn’t be more thrilled to be pouring the wine at one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

I hope you can join us. It’s going to be a great evening.
