Our Nizza Riserva DOCG is our crown jewel. It’s only produced in small amounts and every bottle is numbered. It is made using grapes from vineyards in the Bricco di Nizza cru. The vines are more than 60 years old.

The wine is aged in tonneaux and barrique for 12 months before being bottled. And we age it in bottle for 12 months more than the appellation requires.

“This is an old-vine (60 years old) wine with some whole-cluster fermentation… Really fresh. Medium body with lovely fruit. Solid and polished. A structured Barbera to drink or hold.”

James Suckling Wine Ratings

Rich ruby red color with a note of violet that evolves into granite after a few years of aging. On the nose, the wine I elegant and austere, with notes of prune, black cherry, and ripe blackberry and hints of spice and forest floor. These are followed by lingering, delicate notes of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is savory and full-bodied with healthy acidity and tannic structure that will mellow as the wine ages.
