A magical encounter: Amistà and two extraordinary settings, Monaco and the Porto Cervo Food and Wine Festival (PCWFF). Two high-profile events where Amistà took a star turn thanks to its unique character and versatility.
In Monaco, the Amistà Vermouth, along with the winery’s Nizza and Nizza Riserva DOCG wines, stole the show at the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel on the occasion of the event organized by Marriott International. The gathering was presided over by Dominique Milardi, wine director at the Meridien and president of Sommelier Association of Monaco, together with Irena Kazimirskaya, CEO of the Allure Luxury Group.
It was a perfect backdrop for Amistà. It was the ideal venue for experiencing “The Taste of Elegance.” The Vermouth, the Nizza, and the Nizza Riserva DOCG seduced an elite crowd of tasers: Piero Sattanino, the first person to become the Best Sommelier in the World, and Jean Pierre Rous, the president of the Monaco-French Riviera Slow Food praesidium, were both in attendance.
Elegance, as it is well known, is a question of pairings. And on this occasion, there couldn’t have been a better example of food and wine pairing than the menu created by the restaurant team at the Meridien: Wine director Jonathan Durant, culinary director Laurent Colin, and executive che Alexandre Lamberet.
Amistà was also a hit at the Porto Cervo Wine and Food Festival (PCWFF), another event organized by the Marriott International. The winery won over an audience of experts, journalists, and opinion leaders.
“The success of these two events,” said Amistà owner Michele Marsiaj, “is important recognition for Amistà’s vision. Monaco and Porto Cervo were the ideal settings to bolster the positioning of our products. Our vermouth and our wines are known for their focus on balance and refinement. With this in mind, the Amistà vermouth is a choice that celebrates the joy of vermouth but also reflects a lifestyle.”
