What a thrill too learn that Amistà Nizza is now available on the list at the legendary Michael’s on Naples in Southern California!
For those of you not familiar with the geography of the Golden State, Naples is a neighborhood in Long Beach, California. It sits on three small islands on Alamitos Bay.
It’s also one of the state’s most beautiful beach communities and a renowned destination for high end dining.
Michael’s on Naples is considered a genuine culinary institution here, with a menu that dances through classic Italian and Californian cuisines. The focus, of course, is on local and seasonal ingredients.
Like its food offering, the wine list, by director and general manager Massimo Aronne, balances top Californian and Italian wines, ranging from the blue chip to the biodynamic. Many in the Italian wine industry consider his program to be one of the best in the state.
For the entire Amistà team, it couldn’t be more rewarding to know that the wines have found a home at such an iconic restaurant.
And making the deal even sweeter, Naples isn’t far from my hometown, San Diego. It was such a treat for me to get to enjoy this spectacular restaurant.
